What Is EXIF Data?
EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is hidden metadata embedded inside every photo taken by your phone or camera. It can contain your exact GPS coordinates, the phone model, the date and time the photo was taken, and even the camera's serial number.
Why Remove It Before Government Uploads?
When you upload your photo to exam portals or government sites, that portal can potentially read your GPS location and device information. Removing EXIF data protects your privacy and prevents unauthorized location tracking.
How It Works
Our tool re-draws your photo onto a blank HTML5 canvas and exports a clean JPG from scratch. Since the canvas has no metadata layer, the resulting file contains zero EXIF information.
